Hi all, bit of a strange one:

This machine spins, but not as it should. The motor works in momentary ‘pulses’ at intervals of roughly a second or so. This is accompanied by a little squeak as the belt slips slightly.

I’ve entered the test mode and it’s given an error code of ‘F06’ which I can’t for the life of me find the description for.

If I cycle through the test mode, it will spin up nicely to the full 1500rpm high speed spin speed and sit there happily. But on the low speed (whatever it is during the actual wash cycle) spin test it does the strange pulsing behaviour.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi, it’s definitely WM6355W.

It’s an older model, from around 2010-ish.

Bit grubby now from having had my fixing mitts all over it!

If it helps, it’s identical in appearance to the WM5100 model, but with the addition of a digital display/timer on the panel.
