    Hello there.

I have a Beko WM8127W washing machine that today developed a strange fault. The machine starts on any wash cycle, begins to fill with water (water going in okay) and then stops after about a minute. The dispaly is as normal – no faults displayed – but it will not continue. If hold in the start switch to end the cycle and then restart, the cycle goes to end. The filter is clean. I’ve tries resetting by turning the dial to cotton, switching off, holding down the start switch as I switch on. I got the flashing “all on” display, then switched to spin and reset. It seemed to reset okay but the problem is still there. Any ideas please?

    Check the motor brushes.

Thank you very much, Martin. I changed the brushes (one was very worn) and did a reset – Bingo!
