Beko WMA 1512W

Hi the above m/c fills ,clicks once [no drum action] then stops dead! Even advancing the prog the m/c just sits there,only when advancng to the spin prog does it actually do anything, as in it empties ,tumbles then spins as per normal. Heater checks ok as does the thermistor, am I looking at a timer problem? Only asking as this is the first Beko I’ve worked on so any tips would be welcome…..

Chris,
Are you SURE the machine empties? I have been to three of these with similar faults (Won’t stAY ON SELECTED PROG AND DOES NOTHING) And the pump has been open circuit.

I think I am right in saying that the beko dial clicks round the same as indesit to indicate a fault somewhere.

It may be worth just connecting another pump just to make sure!

Andrew, yes it pumps out ok but only when the dial is turned to the spin position. It seems to be a mechanical type timer & not an electronic or pre-select type.
