Customer said machine made a noise and now won’t work.

Not sure what the noise was, machine looks fine physically, pump etc all clear.

Using the test routine from our fault guide I ran it through. All steps of the component test worked perfectly, not brushes, machine only had light use.

When trying to set any programme the prewash light is flashing all the time on every setting. none of the other function buttons operate and the machine will not start.

Any ideas?

EDIT. Just spotted P45’s reply to a similar question, if it is the module, what is the part number and approx cost?

I have just talked this customer through the reset mentioned in a couple of posts on the subject and she has managed to clear the fault for now.

Suspect the noise may have been OOB.
