ParticipantMy wma 510 stopped mid cycle, and wouldnt respond. I drained the water via the filter, and have tried several times to get the machine to run. If i unplug it, then turn it back on, after trying to start a cycle, after a few seconds, the start/pause/cancel led flashes and nothing happens, repressing it has no effect
reading messages left elsewhere, it seems a though Beko machines can be reset by certain key preses, as mine is a different model no, and doesnt have the same buttons, this wont work on mine.
Does anyone know how to reset it. The machine is still under warranty, the obvious thing is to call them out, but as I work awkward shifts, it may be the end of next week before im in at a suitable time, and if it’s an easy reset, I’d rather do it myself, plus I will know for next time
Any help appreciated

Try turning the machine off via the ON/OFF button and wait for a few minutes untill you hear a soft audible click which means that the door lock has released.
Next (with the door still closed)set the programe selector to Drain, turn the machine on again via the ON/OFF button, then press and hold the start/pause/cancell button untill you hear the pump start, then release the start /pause/ cancel button.
Allow the machine to complete the drain function without interuption. The machine then stops and after a couple of minutes the door lock should release.Your machine should then have reset itself and be ready for normal use.

Hi Sean,
thanks for that, but no response from the machine. At the drain position, is it expecting to have water inside it, as it has been drained via the filter, if so, I can easily get some water into it via the soap tray (slowly…….), but dont want to have yet another flood in the kitchenany help appreciated

Hi John,
You could try that but no more than a few pints of water. your machine should have reset itself, you may require an engineers visit after all.
