Could anyone help , over the last couple of weeks the said washing machine has been working as normal but is leaving a smell in the clothes that are being washed. we are using the same wash powder, the water supply is ok,the machine seems to be draining ok, could this be that the machine is re-using the dirty water in the machine if so how can i rectify this problem

well, you could just check the pump first, tyo make sure theres no blockages

next thing, is your machine plumbed in under the sink, attatched to the drain?

further to that, try a good old service wash

that being a 90 degree wash with no clothes in, possibly using calogon or such like, or some bleach
if you use bleach, be sure to do a couple of washes later to get rid of it fully

it sounds like the usual scenario, theres a useful guide on here, i cant just find it, im sure one of the guys (probably penguin) who will paste you the link

    hope this helps?
