Beko WMA1512 won’t spin.

Hi

Hope somoene can help me, or rather my girlfriend.

She has a Beko WMA1512.

THe last week or so it refuses to work.

The machine fills. The timer knob turns round but when the machine should start spinning nothing happens and it won’t drain either so just left with a machine full of water.

Emptied(aka soaking the floor)the machine and checked the filter for blockages as this was the 1st time she spotted the fault and didnt know if it had spun or not as she came back to find it like this from her housemate leaving a wash on. Was quite blocked, it had never been emptied before apparently. Sadly the problem still remains.

Do the basics first – after the filter is pulled, look right back into the pump chamber (a torch will help you here). Hairslides, paper clips, 5p’s and other small solid objects can get through the filter and jam the pump impellor.
