Beko wma1512w clothes coming out hot

Had a look at this Beko wma1512w (fitted new element months ago to this ).

Complaint of clothes coming out hot after wash and glass door hot even at 40c wash..

Taps and Pipes all fitted correct way .

Thermistor on element was reading 4k at room temp ..Did not have spare thermistor ,what is usually rating for these at cold before i change it ? checked wiring from element to board all ok ..Removed pcb and seen a few dry joints so gonna redo …Are there any probs with relays sticking on these ?

I’ve no idea if a WMA1512W has hot & cold fill but if it does then that can be the only explanation for the problem surely?

I can’t imagine the heater relay would be stuck on either as that would make short work of that new element, especially during rinse and spin!

5k isn’t a bad reading for an NTC by the way. 😉

yes shaun, i’d be checking water supply.
the machine should rinse in cold water with no heat cycle at all.
if you’re not sure about the supply, put the machine on a rinse cycle and observe the fill.

Hi Guys,

Yes this is a hot and cold fill machine ! went back today and replaced pcb (just resoldered some dry joints last night as it was easy to access pcb to take home ,agree don’t think pcb was issue ) Put it on a 40c wash (same as customer) worked fine ,used clamp meter and extension lead trick that Martin so kindly added to this site 😉 heater kicked in and was drawing just over 9 amps then switched off after it heated.

Like i said yesterday ,i checked and double checked hoses and pipe work incase anybody had touched them ,But all ok.

Only thing i can think of is it is a ground floor flat ,could the cold water supply have had a low pressure at some point from mains? Boiler is in a cubby hall in kitchen and is only about 3ft from ground as well, she says it only happened the one time and she rang me cause she thought clothes were hot at finish .

Did not change thermistor as i thought that 4k was ok ..So basically it was a wierd fault that happened.Told her to give me a ring if it happens again. 😐
