Customer reported washer blowing fuses, the motor has an earth fault on the com. due to I think carbon contamination will blow out tonight, but ran machine with motor disconnected and it won’t reset won’t go back to ready state.
I took power off, door opened, shut the door, powered on then the start/pause/cancel the time save and the spin/end and the ready lights came on momentarily, the ready light went off and the pump ran for 5 seconds then went off then nothing for several minutes then the pump came on again.
Would the disconected motor cause this or could the borard have a fault caused by the motor?
I would be grateful for any advice
    John

the module should be ok its just faulted because of the open circuit/missing motor.

Yeah when the brushes go it does the same so if you disconnect the motor it wil behave the same. I went to one of these yesterday apparently blowing the fuse in the plug. When i get there he explains ” It was blowing fuses so i tried silver paper around the fuse to get it to work” 😯 😯 . It was also tripping the switch etc. So when i get there it doesn’t work at all, with all the trying he must have fried the board :rolls:
