Beko WMA620W wont start

So, I have a Beko WMA620W that now wont start.

The “Start/Pause” light just flashes.

This fault started over a month ago, as in normally you just press Start and it will start, well you would press start it would sit there and then flash start/pause and if i pressed start again it would always start, i didnt have to open the door, kick it or do anything.

Now I come to use it and it just flashes the start/pause and wont start at all.

Stripped it down and nothing obvious wrong, fitted a new set of motor bushes as that is common issue but they didnt resolve the fault.

Any ideas before it goes to the tip ?

the child lock isnt on is it ?

No the child lock is not on.

does the door lock ?

if no try this
leave door open
select programme and press start
then close door

does not always work but the jolt of closing the door after activation can sometimes get it to go
if it works change lock if it does not could still be lock

No the door does not lock. Just tried that but no luck still the same.

still could be door lock

they can be tested but you have to know how

if they are cheap you could replace but its not certain it will cure it
