ParticipantTurn the machine on and the main wash light flashes. Reset, cleaned filter, pump etc but no joy. Beko will happily send a man out but won’t tell me what the code means and I’m loath to throw any money at this piece of rubbish without some confidence that it’s gonna fix it.
Any offers before I drive it down to Beko and throw it through their flippin window?!

What nihtmare – did you throw it through the beko showroom window or did you maange to fix it ? if you did did you ahve to reset the machine and how on earth did you do it ?
– reason why I am asking is because my washing machine stopped mid cycle with the pre wash flashing – wthe water looked black absolutly filthy – i drained it cleaned the totally blocked filter and put it all together but still the pre wash light is flashing and the machine wont reset –
i am guessing there is some sort of reset button but I cant find it anywhere – does any one out there have any expereince with BEKO washing machinesd and resetting them ? please help……….August 7, 2007 at 9:15 pm #222741gegsy

Hi
Sounds like “Child Lock” having been activated 😀
Press the “Quick Wash” and the “Anti Crease” buttons together for 3 seconds to de-activate.
Assuming its the same machine as the OP’s 😉Greg

Cococitybox – aint fixed it but and just about given in 👿 Reset (if it’s the same as mine) is switch off at the button, not the plug, set to a 90 wash and hold down the start and pause buttons (which are the same button but you need to hold down both ends) for 3 seconds whilst pressing the on button. The display will show bars across, then set to any spin and away you go. Or not if it’s stuffed like mine!
Gegsy – On these it shows CL on the display if the child lock is on so it’s not that. Had tried it anyway in desperation. Thanks for your input though, any suggestions welcome!!

Damn pigeon English manuals, thats what they say in there. You see the fun we have fixing them if the user manual is bolloxed 👿
