You may have read my previous post about the suspected leak in the door seal of my washer. Upon closer inspection of the hole it looks perfectly oblong in shape and is bang in the centre of the sealright at the bottom close to the rim. Is this meant to be there? I have just discovered that my stop tap is leaking and this be the source of the mysterious leak. Would it be worth my while putting a few sheets of paper under the washer and put it on a rinse cycle and then check for any dripson the paper? Any help would be appreciated….

Yes, it sounds like that’s the drain hole which is meant to be there 🙂

It won’t hurt to check anyway to be on the safe side of course (with the paper) 😉

    Dave.
