ParticipantHi,
first post so please be gentle!
Have just had Beko WMB 71642W delivered and fitted based on favourable reviews but we have had a few instances where the laundry still seems wet and/or contains suds. We have reduced the amount of detergent to about half (60ml of Bold) because we have a water softener fitted but we are still getting the problem every so often. This evening it was so bad that on the final spin bubbles were working their way out of the soap drawer like something out of a horror film! There was also a slightly odd electrical type smell. When it does this we also get bubbles coming up through the plug hole of the sink the washer drain is plugged in to.
Thanks.

Hi Jon,
What program are you using?

At the moment we are just using the one for mixed fabrics and upping the spin speed to 1200.

Try a full program instead, IIRC that’s a chopped down one.

would a full one be one that does not have the ‘e’ for economy light up?
I’ll give it a go but would still like to use the ‘e’ programmes eventually.

Just a normal cotton 40?C program will do.
Most of the mixed, fast, quick wash programs are intended for lightly soiled clothes and don’t do all the rinses or even a full and proper wash.
As for the economy programs, TBH, they’re rarely worth the bother, you’re talking pennies or a fraction of that you save.

We only have one non ‘e’ programme according to the display when I rotate the dial and that’s baby and toddler clothing at 2.5 hours! I guess that uses plenty of water to make sure there is no residual detergent. Don’t want that to be the only programme we can use though.
