ParticipantRecently had my kitchen refitted and plumbed back in our Beko WMB10 Washing Machine. All has been fine for about two weeks but yesterday following a wash cycle found a pool of water in front of the machine. It appears the leak is underneath the machine. I cleaned out the filter that had a coin and some other bits and pieces in it. I’m not too sure if this is the problem. Anyone got any suggestions at things I should check or can test before calling an engineer?

Have just checked our washing machine as some of you suggested, Surprise, surprise when inspecting the door seal I found a small slither of ceramic wall tile embedded in the rubber. Its not a pin hole more like a cut. Is it fair to say that this is almost certainly the cause of the mystery water leak? If so can I purchase a new seal and fit myself or should I call an engieer to be safe? Once again to all thanks for the tips,,,

Glad you have at least ascertained what the problem is … in terms of safety and ease, far better to let a pro sort it … use the Repairs@ link on the left of the front page to find your nearest repairer that will work on your machine … or just click here
