Heater down to earth, marks on heater where it was hitting drum and no sign of a bracket in the tub. This is the second one that I have seen like this in a month. Any one got any info on this problem?

I’ve had two of these myself.

I now carry a heater bracket as van stock.

We’ve also done several of these dissapearing brackets, we too keep them on the vans now.

I seem to remember that this bracket is basically a wire clip. Am I right? Also, can it be fitted without a complete strip down, as in drum out?

It only takes ten minutes to take the inner drum out.

I think you would struggle to fit it without removing the drum.
