Participantcan anyone help me please, serched for hours on this subject, have narrowed the problem down(v v noisy on spin) tot the rear bearing, but enven though i am a field service engineer for xray equipment i have never ,well apart from brushes taken on the bearings of a washing machine, i am gettingt a new kitchen fitted next week and would like to quieten down my washer before its enclosed,i am over budget on the kitchen so cant afford a new washer, so what i need is info , arethese washers difficult to work on etc and if possible the whereabouts o a service manual, iv been on the web now for atleast 3 hours and am going a bit bonkers,any help would be massively appreciated,thank you

thats helpful, look if i can fix something i will , i dont mind putting the effort in, ive just spent a fortune on a conservatory kitchen etc so yes it is a cheap washer whats the sense in buying a new one when it can be fixed? my sons xbox wouldnt read disks this week so what did i do buy a new one did i f*** i bought a laser for£13 and fixed it , whatsthe problem with that sort of mentallity, i asked for help, can you help me, obviously no, please keep snidey comments to yourself then. if you can help me then help me easy as that

You won’t get a manual for the machine period, even we very rarely see one these days. 😕
Replacing the bearings is usually a stripdown job, not nice. If you look in the advice and help section there’s an article in there about bearing changes.

You can do it, patience is the key. If you contact spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk, they should be able to sort you out a bearing kit.
