    On washing and spin the motor has no control, goes into fast spin for a couple of seconds then cuts out.
    Anyone had this problem?

    If it’s a brush motor then it’s a tacho fault. Induction motor it’s the inverter you need to look at.

    thanks Martin. We know its a tacho fault however is it a faulty motor or a faulty control PCB ? .( Brush motor )

    check the magnet at the back of the motor. had a few break

    you could put a multimeter across the tacho output terminals. spin the motor and see if there is an output.
