    Hi all! 🙂

My new washing machine stops a few minutes into any washing programme.

I ran the 90 C cotton program first as described in the manual before first use, and everything seemed to go fine.

But when I try to do a normal programme, the machine stops after a few minutes. It blinks on two status-indicators after stopping: The start/Pause indicator (or rather the led in the button blinks) and the Wash indicator.

The only selection that appears to work right on the machine is the “pump+spin” selection.

I know it takes water in fine, because if I stop it where it pauses, the bottom is full of water. It’s also able to pump it out, because after running the pump+spin selection it’s empty. The spin also works – although at 1600 it make the kitchen dance, so in later tests I’ve reduced it to 600 rpm. The detergent is also washed out of the drawer, so that seems okay too.

    The manual says:

Problem: Machine stopped shortly after the program started.
Cause: Machine can stop temporarily due to low voltage.
Suggestion: It will resume operating when the voltage is back to normal level.

It does not seem to resume no matter how long I wait, however, nor if I turn other appliances off. Also I find it odd that it should be a voltage issue, as it spins at 1600 rmp just fine – and it stops even when doing a cold wash.

Any suggestions to cause or fix? I noticed in another topic something about a heating circuit issue – but the macine is brand new, and it wont run even on the cold-water programme?

    Any help or advice appreciated!

If it’s brand new call out Beko, that’s what your guarantee is for. Make sure you’ve removed the transit bolts first though – if your machine is moving on spin it sounds like you’ve left them in.
