Beko WME 8227 W washing machine

Had a look at one today, couldn’t spend too much time so i might have overlooked something but here’s what happens…

Set the program it started. Fills up but no motor action. Put to spin the pump starts up but after about 10 seconds it stops.

Now there is a flower like symbol flashing and it won’t do anything at all… Checked the brushes they are ok, any ideas?

Have a good look at motor. Probably loose connection / break in wire somewhere. Tacho magnet even. (Don’t know this model, so I’m just going by symptoms.)

Check brushes are making good contact, take them off rub end with very fine emery paper & same for armature. Then give it a go, run it on spin a few times to bed in brushes if motor is o.k.
