BEKO WME 8227w drum not spinning, no error code

Hi there,
my 4-y.o. BEKO just stopped working. It went through 2/3 of the washing cycle then froze at 53 minutes. There’s no error code. It fills, drains and heats water but the drum won’t revolve. It’s not overloaded BUT 2 washing cycles ago I did accidentally overload it. The only thing I’ve done so far is cleaned the filter.
My question is:
– is it something that can be easily repaired?
– if not, is it worth calling an engineer or am I better off buying a new machine?
– how much might the engineer charge?

UPD: just tried cancelling programme again then unplugged and left for a bit. Plugged in again, set on spinning cycle. The drum did move 1/4 turn then stopped
