    Hello,

Can Anyone help me shed some light on these machines for me please?

I have had 2 WME7227’s and one WME8227 Fail due to Worn Carbons.

When I have replaced the obviously worn carbons, the motor has failed to operate.

So I have replaced the motors. Everything seems okay to start with, then after a few washes, the motors fail to turn.

I have replaced the Main Modules but still having problems.

    Is this a known issue?

    Any ideas greatly welcomed.

Broken wire in Motor Connector plug/wiring harness?

Going back to one in the morning.

Will see what I can find.

Spoke with the customer today and she said it sounds like it is trying (but that could be the pump running!).

    Thanks for the reply.

Give us a bit of context. Do you see a lot of these models and normally find that brush changes do the trick or are these the only examples you’ve come across?
If they’re the only ones you’ve seen, thanks for the warning, I’ll put them on my “caution” list!

I agree with Martin, the split stator motor on these ( used in the 12-1400 rpm variants ) are very prone to broken wires both on the loom side of the motor plug and the motor side don’t know if its due to the excess vib they all seem to suffer from but broken motor loom wires are regular. Unfortunately I work it a predominately deprived area and see a lot of these cheap junk, beko’s economy inde’s etc

Re: Beko WME7227 WME8227 Laundry Range Carbon/Motor Failure

    1st One.

    Wrong motor supplied by CDSL.

And I did not check for any differences. Even if I had seen a different part number, I would have assumed it was a supersession or modified / supplemented part.

    2nd One……

    On for today.

    Off to Sunny High Peak!

?? This has still not been explained. Also why would the wrong motor work OK for a few washes?
Good luck and please keep us informed, it’s interesting!

got a wme7267 in the workshop gathjering dust that was only 18 months old back last year, with same sort of issues – replaced module pump and wiring loom with no luck, and looks like maybe motor ?
