    Just a pointer.

Last time I worked on this Beko WME series the dc module had blown. The dc module is the smaller module under the lid on the r/h/side of the machine. Same symptoms as yourself, switch on bang or trip if rcd. That was traced to the motor as the culprit shorting out and then taking out this pcboard. This is just a pointer only with luck it might just be a duff heater. Take wires off heater isolate them then try machine again. If it all goes to pot then check dc pcboard. If it looks like the board has blown tracks be careful you don`t get caught out lashing out on the parts as you might find that the main pcb is nuked too as well as the dc board as well as the motor. Sorry to be so pessimistic!

Agreed. Very good value for 220 quid. Yes, if you have a look, disconnect the heater and try at least you might be able to cancel out the heater as the culprit. Next try disconnecting the motor and the the terminal block off the dc pcboard although the way they wire these machines might prove not too much.
