Hi, I’m in the middle of attempting to fix our washing machine.
It won’t spin, the inverter board had a bad 470uf cap and a blown fuse. Replaced both and still no joy. I’ve measured the voltage from the board and gives 120v on each leg, but 0v across any two legs which makes me think it’s the same phase and a bad board still. But…
The motor spins by hand freely and has the same resistance across each winding, 6 ohms….
I’ve wired the motor to 3in 3out inverter set to 40Hz at 240v. It’s jerky and doesn’t hit the 40Hz target set by the inverter and draws 6amps trying to get there.
Are they both jiggereed ? Or does anyone know the best way to proceed.
Thanks.
