belling 205wh ring not heating to max temp

hi guys i changed 2 of the large solid hob plates on this cooker , customer sayes it worked for a little while but now it wont bring water to a boil ,i have checked all the connections and power etc 😮

not mush to go wrong with these so its got to be 1 of the elements failed or the switch that controls it

disconnect ring and check both elements

also had one the other week where all the numbers were cleaned off and the customer was switching it to 1 instead of 6
