    Interesting one this – nasty Belling solid plate coooker, not seen one of this sort for years. Has no main oven and both left hand side plates not working. Expected it to be thermal fuses but both check out fine. Power in and out of oven tstat/switch, elements are not open circuit, power light not working but guess its blown as def has power to where it connects on tstat.

    Bit lost on this one – should be working as far as I can see !!

    Sounds like either the live wire or neutral wiring to the connector block is not tight or a link is missing from the connector block

    ps – can anyone point me at a suitable terminal block – I think Beko one might do.

    as with all problems like this you can proove it with a meter

    obviously both ring and the oven are fed by one wire or if its 2 or 3 wires thay must be connected to the live connection block at the same place
    probably one of the metal jumpers on the term block find it, short it and it should work then you can order part if reqd

    Thermal cut outs (microtemps) in line from mains supplies to hobs and ovens,fastened in the back to chasis,take back off they are in heat shrink tubes.
    Had one today 🙂
    They come as part of the wiring harness by the look of masterparts list but a new one same value could easily be crimped in.Don’t know the rating but orange dome on it (had the contacts in today so will return with a few to repair).fleabay

    Thanks guys, test both the inline thermal fuses for continuity – both fine so going to revisit on monday with a Beko terminal block.
