Old beast but still works wellish. Belling 6060 with double fan oven (both fan), both ovens work but seem to take about 45 mins to reach temp. I thought we could tell people that fan ovens almost did away with preheating…
Fans work, elements provide heat, stats cut out and regulate fine once they’ve reached temp. Any suggestions as to why it takes so long to heat (and how to fix it) ? Thanks.

fans are weak not getting up to speed or slowing down once they have been on a bit, element down or half the element working.

when you say it takes 45 mins to reach temp, does the pilot light not go out during this time. if the pilot is going on and off but the temp is too low then i would recon on slow fan speed. other wise i have seen only part of element working as philfish said.

thanks for that gents. Pilot staying on for 45 mins. Will try element first. Strange that both fan ovens are behaving like this.
