Tapping Penguin’s part no. into Connect’s searchbox brings up a stat with the following info,
“Important information. :The thermostats supplied may be dif ferent to the original stat in manufacturer and different ph ysical design it may be 2 tag or 3 tag. We are unable to supp ly any details regarding fitting any stat supplied you Must Contact stoves/belling direct who can supply details speci fic to your model. For model 653H you will also need STV08204389 grill switch.”

I have the STV082604989 Thermostat that will control the element,
and need the part number for the additional switch that controls the fan.

Your ps was too subtle for me, I missed your reference to the missing 6.

ps. Belling now tell me this switch and thermostat combination has now been replaced by 082620851
