    My main oven is not heating, the fan will run when selected but no heat. When selecting a temperature no illumination occurs of the indicator light for the temperature. Is it the element or the thermosat?

    its a bad sign if the indicator light isnt on

    normally, if its just the element then the light would illuminate

    theres no better test than doing it with a multimeter

    Many thanks for all your replies from the so called experts out there!!! Problem now solved, oven working like a dream. And I know what fixed it!!!!!
