Hi, we have a Belling BE808 integrated fridge, recently we noticed severe ice build up on inside rear rear panel(about 2 inches thick!). I checked temperature and found it was unable to get below about 10°c. I thought of door seals but they are fine and fit well. After defrosting, it started to build up again straight away. I replaced the thermostat as it was easy and cheap but it does the same. As well as icing up it still struggles to get below about 10° even though it is running constantly.
I am now thinking it’s not worth messing with as maybe there is a compressor issue. Is it worth pulling it out and having a look round the back or is it scrap?
I am familiar with electronic equipment but no fridge experience.
    Any advice appreciated.
    Thanks

It does sound like a compressor issue I’m afriad.
