    HI Guys
    One of my colleagues went to a call on a brand new double oven electric cooker and for some reason when it gets hot the door comes open by itself. He checked it all and found the venting ok. I suggested maybe a dodgy door striker of holder. Any of you guys had any problems like this? It only does it when it is hot, Is there any pressure there i wonder? He even suggested that the house might be haunted. Ha Ha!

    Heat expansion is having a part to play in this, along with cr@p build quality I would imagine.

    Is the door seal “all four sides” ? As a three sided or four sided with a cut-out along the bottom would releave some of the pressure, I am assuming of course it’s fan assisited.
