I have had a look at a IDW602 belling dishwasher with a mechanical timer. When you start the program it fills with water and heats but then will not progress any further the timer does not move any more, if i turn it manually i cant get the wash pump to work either. i suspect timer fault but would be gratefull for any information on this appliance.

Is it a chinese made one? the mechanical timers are suspect on those.

The part number i have from masterpart shows it as either a merloni or another picture shows it as a brandt

I think thats a Brandt one (2 screws on the outside of lower door panel near the bottom once the outer door panel is removed?) Suffers badly from door loom breakages and did used to repair the odd one for MFI with a new loom, pretty old now and not worth the bother IMO.
