i know this has probably been covered somewhere on here but here goes the code e3 usually refers to the heater or the thermister i believe but both test out fine the problem i have is it reaches the drain cycle but then beeps for 30 seconds with the code e3 and continues to drain i have tested as much as i can and checked for blockages around the machine anyone any help regarding this please

Mostly a P.C.B error, sticking relay, E3 means the heater is detected on when it should’nt be.

Need the exact product code of appliance as theres a few variants I think, should be 44444????

082621337 Timer (board)

Worth testing the pressure proving switch on the hose at heater, have known these to become sticky & not allow heating or stay stuck on & fool the electronics.

Thx for the reply not had chance to have look Ive connected it to the hot water temporarily till I get chance to sort it

Not a good idea to connect d’w to hot water, it tends to coagulate any protein based foods onto surface of dishes. They need to be washed off in cold water first, then increased water temperture works with the detergent to shift & hold dirt off them before rinsing.
Understand that this is a temporary measure you are taking.

………besides, switching to a hot water supply is pointless as it still has to reach up to temperature, so it will not work. :rolls:
