Good afternoon, we have a Belling Model 860 cooker. the top oven isn’t heating as it should. I’ve had a side panel off but not the back ( yet ).
Where is the heating element? the top oven is wrapped in foil and I presume insulated and I cannot believe it has to be removed.
Is it an easy job to replace th element?

    Regards

Hi, you usually get to heating elements from the rear of the machine,
    power off first!

Thanks Phil, Just to set your mind at ease, power off was the first thing i did 😀 .
The handbood mentions two methods of heating top over – a grill element which is visible and one under the floor of the oven.
Ive loosened the back off and can see the two pairs of connections for the top grill element and one for the lower fan oven. but nothing for anything between the top of the lower oven and the bottom of the upper oven.
In fact the inner panel under the insulation seems to be continous from top to bottom apart from some 20mm dia holes running across the back about where the element should be.
    Any ideas?

    Regards

    John
