Hi, I have the above belling with dual fuel. Last year the electric grill started playing up and not heating occasionally. I thought it was an issue with the control knob, and turning it on in a particular way thought had fixed it. But more recently it’s now stopped working at all and I can’t get out to heat up in any way.

How do I find out what’s wrong? Is it repairable? Do you recommend engineers who can help (We’re in Coventry)?

    Thanks

    Hi there,

Most likely it’s your grill thermostat or grill element. This is repairable. Most likely it’s that your grill element has broken down.

I think most of the common issues are the heating element needs to be replaced or the thermal fuse needs replacing. Also, check the breaker on the outlet you’re plugging it into to see if it tripped.

The most common cause of grills not heating up is because the element has somehow become damaged. By unscrewing the heating element, you will be able to conduct a visual examination. heating element is damaged in any way it will need to be replaced.
