you cant bypass the lamp or it will blow.

disconnect wires and insulate and see what happens

so there’s a wire comes from the back of the stat housing this went into the lamp then another wire came out the lamp into a tab on the next controller. all i done was removed the lamp and went straight from the stat to the tab on the next controller. this would make it blow?

it was the way you said you bypassed it
made it sound like you joined the wires together

that lamp does look like its been causing a problem

essentially what ive done is the same as joining the wires together, current path is the same.

    wrong
that will cause it to go bang

disconnect the wires and insulate them. do not connect them to anything

easier to temporarily remove them as they’re just short on tags,

ok now check it get to temp and turns off

just in case you have welded the stat

set it to 100 degrees and see if it gets too hot
