Belling fan cooker

The top oven works but the fan is not turning and oven not hot if the element has blown will the fan not work

no if element blows fan will still run

if unit has a clock check its not been knocked out of the manual position

it has just come back on now but the fan is rattling

that can happen the element would glow red because the fan is stopped, so the oven would heat. the stress of this on the element can then blow them

i still think the first port of call is the clock or the switch

also some belling cookers have a door switch and these can fail
