Belling Format 600XR2

    Here’s a good one
    Customer complains fluoresecent behind facia stays on after use for about 30 mins ,Sometimes just comes on of its own accord ,Any ideas?

    I think the light is controlled by a small pcb situated under the rear cover access point to the mains lead, this also controls the cooling fan staying on after the ovens been used, perhaps worth investigating here.

    Also these had a habit of melting the multi way connector from ovens to control panel, causing all sorts of weird faults. This is situated under the r/hand side panel as you look from the front, at least a 12 way plug carrying the element currents!!!!

    An update on this one ,I went in armed with a board changed it and while I was at it I checked the multi block and lo & behold 5 connections melted into a blob ,made new connections and runs like a dream ,Customer was most impressed that I went straight to the block 😉 so thanks Gents you saved me a lot of time and effort & I appreciate it
