Belling Format 600xt

Hi, I have a Belling format xt cooker which has a problem with the fan oven coming on/saying on when its not turned on at the switch.

It only seems to happen whenever anything is done with the timer, which makes the fan oven light come on and the element heat up without turning on the oven with the switch.
It is on the minimum heat but when the oven door is opened you can feel that it is on. The fan does’nt come on just the element.

The thermosat is looking a bit worse for wear and the oven does tend to get hotter than the setting indicates tho that might be nothing to do with this.

Any help appreciated, Mark

P.S does anyone know where I would get a user manual for this oven, ive tried Belling a few months ago but they say unbelievably that they dont have manuals for this range.
