hi guys this little nugget again , i have this since christmas customer sayes it only washes with good results sometimes , lots of residue left on knives and plates , so i check everything all ok but no power going to element when i put it in diagnostic 3 wires going to element white and pink in one tag and pink in the other , traced them back and one pink goes to the pressure sw, then back to the board the other pink and white pink goes to the door switch and white to the wash pump , i get power going as far as the pressure sw and nothing beyond that to the element , does this makes sense that its not heating because of this p/ sw its inline with the heater element hose , it takes in water fine goes through the wash just no heat !!

these things usually under-fill by about a litre. that means that the pump activated switch does not turn on the heater.
after hours of trial and error in workshop, i discovered on the machine i tested (kenwood), that a quarter turn clockwise on the centre screw of the pressostat made it work fine. it has now continued working back in customers house for three months.
the confusing thing originally was that some cycles worked and others didnt.

oops just realised that yours is a slim-line. so the adjustment may be less.

ok so no joy with pressostat , but i replaced the inline pressure switch just next to the wash motor and that did the trick cheers
