I have checked everything regarding the water supply and all seems OK. Last time we tried to use the machine we gave uo after 12 attempts as E1 appeared each time.

I have taken the side panels off and have seen, at the rear right hand corner where the water supply enters what I can only describe as a plastic tub (about 3″ dia and about 4″ high). Water entering the machine goes though this after going through a blue coloured plastic piece on the side of the washer body.

In the tub is an orangy coloured gooey substance and I wondered whether it could be fat and if this was reducing the water pressure.

If it is fat (or similar) how can I remove this please ?

If the orange stuff is the water softener has anyone got any suggestions of what the cause of the low water pressure error might be please?

E1 means that an increase in water level has not been detected by the flow meter after 4 minutes. Is the machine actually filling?
