Belling IDW450mk2 power switch

Hi

Just bought a house with a Belling IDW450 integrated dishwasher kindly left with a note saying the power button doesn’t work and to use the mains switch to turn it on and off.

The power button is stuck down.

anyone know if this can be swapped easily and safely?

some of the switches are clipped into the panel from underneath. if you push the sw too hard they can unclip and just need clipping back into place

worst scenarion is if the panel has fractured where the switch fits

exactly that!

switch seems to work if held

can I just superglue it back into position?

you can if you realise that if it ever went again you would have to replace panel and switch
