ParticipantHi
Can somebody please tell me if my cooker’s salvageable?
We got up this morning to the display showing Er:00, we tried resetting it but it just returned. The hobs all work fine, as does the ignition. The large oven in the right works fine. When we turned the grill and left oven on the red oven on light, fan, oven light and display started flickering with a clicking noise in time with the flickering, the display kept showing different numbers/letters.
The display has now completely gone off and the small red light doesn’t work, the left oven doesn’t work at all, the grill still works.
Any help will be gratefully received as we can’t really afford to replace at the moment.
Cheers

ParticipantHi Dave
I’ve had a look all over and unfortunately there isn’t a model number anywhere.

ParticipantWe can’t pull it out as its sealed into the kitchen, if it can’t be fixed it’ll have to come out but it’s going to mean removing two cupboards, trim and sealant which we’re trying to avoid unless absolutely necessary.

Moderatorwell to be honest unless it comes out you wont fix it
even if its just a faulty clock display the top would probably need to come off and all the screws are at the rear so it does not damage the look of the cooker
you kitchen fitter was very short sighted if they thought the unit would never have to be removed for service

ParticipantIt was already in when we moved in so I can’t really call anybody out.
Thanks for taking your time anyway Dave, much appreciated.
