belling e665 444447145 just been pricing the halogen ring for this part no stv012840806 it’s coming up expensive over £100 the standard ceramic plates fitted are only around £30 , I assume there would be no problem replacing the halogen with a standard plate if they wanted??..and are there any cheap halogens from any other makes available they all look pretty standard.. thanks

Wattage will be your problem as far as the regulator is concerned. Personally I wouldn’t consider such a bodge. A bit like stuffing a candle in duff wall light I guess. 😐

😕 haha not quite.. would just be the same as the other 3. I thought those regulators were all the same?
