BELLING OVEN HINGES XOU 388

Hi

I have a client with very old Belling XOU 388 double built in oven

require a pair of main oven door hinges.

BELLING say parts now not availible as they can,t source a supplier.

anyone got any lying on a shelf collecting dust

client copes with wooden spatular wedged under door glass to cook with, kitchen also very warm with heat loss from oven.

Hinges or hinge sockets Graham ?

The hinge socket kit is readily available, I may have one or two of the hinges, before I go hunting can you confirm.

hi,

when the hinges are worn on these you will usually find the guides that the hinge wheel runs in(part of the door frame) is also elongated. This causes the door to drop back 1/2 an inch when you shut it. Changing the sockets to the new(now old) kit had no effect.

Do a search for Belling and Hinges and its from about July this year.
