BELLING SLOT IN COOKER MODEL 633GR.

The custimer reports that when the grill and main oven are on after 10-20 mins the cooker trips the fuse board. then after 30 or so mins he can reset the trip . he has run the oven and grill seperately and both work fine…only when they are on together does it trip. if it was an overhaet stat it wouldn’t trip. if it was an element (grill or fan) why would it run ok when used seperately. i have inspected the wiring loom and all terminals there is no sign of anything untoward…help/advice needed before SANTA arrives with the turkey… 😕

I would check that the circuit breaker at the main board is large enough to handle the current. It would be o.k. when either the oven or grill was on but may not be able to cope with both at the same time.

Would be my first point of call to check also..Find out what the 0ven amperage is together and check the circuit breaker for the fuse rating for the cooker circuit.You can apply diversity on cooker installs, but if a heavy load is on at the same time, then it can cause nuisance tripping sometimes if the circuit cannot handle the full load.This would not be a fault on the cooker at all,that’s if this were the issue.
