Hi again,looked at this and the cooling fan is humming but not turning 220 coming to it,so changed it my supplier sent a spurios one on inspection it was too small 90 mm instead of 120 mm i connected it anyway and it would only turn at 150 rpm approx diff is original is .12 to .14 ohm and replacement is .8 to .10 ohm would this be enough to make it run slow
most of these fan are desined to be quiet in operation. so if they went faster they would make more noise. the smaller fan will be a lower power so it will have a higher resistance
my advise get the right fan for the job, the right size, then you cant go wrong
you have a fan with 220v going to it. i assume you are measuring the voltage with the fan connected. so it must be running at its design speed. blowing in it will produce a faster speed but is not designed to do that
fit the correct fan first if you have problems after that then sort them. you dont need a gale blowing through the cooker to keep it cool
