    Whilst using the grill the main circuit breaker tripped. After re setting the breaker I turned the oven back on. The fan came on but as soon as I turned the temperature selector it tripped out again. Is it likely to be just the grill element that has gone because it also trips if I select the oven and turn on the temperature switch. Looking on the Belling site it only mentions a main oven lower element and not a grill element.

    Grill element HERE.

    It’s the most likely culprit, although dodgy energy regulator can do teh same.

    Power off if you plan to do this yourself.

    This is not the same as the one in my oven, mine only has a single element
