The element in the main (fan) oven failed. I’ve replaced it and it now works fine but when the oven is switched on the element now just stays on at full power constantly, I can’t vary the temperature.
I assume therefore that the thermostat has failed as well? Can anyone confirm this please.
And, if so, how difficult is it to fit a new one.
Also, is there anything else that could fail and cause this to happen.
    Many thanks in anticipation.

Thermostat will certainly be the culprit. P/no 082604989 – contact spares@ukwhitegoods.co.uk for prices and ordering.

Fitting is a screwdriver job. Forum rules mean that we can’t walk you through it blow by blow, but it’s pretty basic. Just be careful not to kink the capillary tube.

Just stay safe – power off first.

Brilliant, just wanted to be sure before ordering the part. Thanks very much for that.
