    Hi

I have a Belling XOU90MF built in double oven.

It has recently been cutting out when the main and top oven are used. It would appear that the oven seems either to be getting too hot, or the moisture from the cooking process is not being vented out of the housing and causing the oven to cut out. After a while the oven resets itself and can be used again. The mains supply to the oven is not affected, just the controls of the main oven – the top oven can still be turned on whilst the main oven is disabled.

I took the oven out of it’s housing to inspect it and the cooling fan at the back was turning very slowly, i.e. one/two revs/min. I ordered and replaced the cooling fan, thinking this was the problem. However, the new fan turns as slow. This implies it is a control problem. The fan is wired to a PCB in the housing.

Can this PCB be replaced? Am I on the right lines?

Done this today – fan now works as did before, blowing cooling air through the chassis. Wish I’d have done this first, rather than spending money on a fan – hayho!

    Oven working again
