Bit of a long shot here..
But does anyone have, or know where I could get a good condition one of these machines.. The ones with the stainless steel door frame… And a huge induction motor…
Does not have to be in full working order as it is for restoration

Used to be an advert for this showing a baby fast asleep in front of it,while it was spinning!

I am based in the Swansea area

dumped loads over the years…good old Philco machine though. have to ask…….why?

most suffered rusted tubs/leaks into motors. Unlikely to find one in good condition.

Why? Because a mate of mine has a mini museum of old washing machines and this is yet another one he is after for his collection… There are some unusual collectors out there lol

    Thanks anyway
